On Feb. 3, 2015, ABIM leaders announced significant changes to its Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program and apologized to the physician community for “getting it wrong” on MOC.

To help combat confusion about the revised process, attend an AGA dedicated session at DDW 2015 in Washington, DC.

How to Meet the New MOC Requirements
Sponsored by the AGA Institute Education and Training Committee
Tuesday, May 19, 10–11:30 a.m.

Starting in January 2014, requirements for the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program have changed. Physicians should attend this session to understand changes to the ABIM requirements for recertification — for those with both limited and unlimited certificates; and comprehend various options and mechanisms available through AGA to complete ABIM certification requirements.
